2024 was a crazy fun year and we’re so grateful for the family and friends who spent time with us along the way. Nancy and Jen celebrated 25 yrs together and 10 wed by traveling to Spain and Portugal with Niko, and sharing the adventure with friends along the way. It was an epic trip as seen in the video below.
Our roots are burrowing deeper into this new-ish life in Montclair.
Niko is now in 4th grade and rocking a palate expander. He keeps busy with swim team, building bottle rockets with the cub scouts, playing piano and drawing the funniest comics. He was Bonzai in the Lion King school play last year and is auditioning for Moana this week.
Jen and Nance are still making photos and spaces and are psyched about a maker space just finished in the attic - fun projects on the horizon.
We spent last year absorbing so much incredible art and music which was such a gift. A highlight was heading out to LA in October to see the legendary Joni Mitchell at the Hollywood Bowl.
We also endured some heartache by starting the year fostering the sweetest pup that we ultimately couldn’t keep. *Happy ending - she’s now in the best possible home in VT with two fur siblings. We also lost a dear friend way too young to cancer. Life is so fucking precious.
We’re not taking these beautiful and difficult days for granted. We cherished spending so much time with friends and fam in 2024. If we didn’t see you, let’s get something in the cal for this year.
Our Project 2025 is to practice tenderness, see magic in the ordinary, work through hard things with curiosity, give and receive in community and preserve time to simply make.
